Among the various types of services offered in the Telematics Park, those specific to Audiovisual are particularly valid and effective both in terms of performance and excellent cost / benefit ratio.

The presence of a huge database in the order of magnitude of Petabytes (million of Gigabytes) is a resource that will be worthily exploited thanks to the LAN connection connecting the various offices of companies settled in the Park to the database.

This LAN connection is about 500 times faster than current broadband (> 1 Gbps) and allows the best possible flexibility to edit and assemble video snippets and components present in the database. In addition to video, the database will also include images, audio, software, flash and 3D models etc.

To put this material to best use there will be a need for basic services such as: digitalization, conversion of formats, storage, cataloguing and marketing (for content covered by proprietary licenses).

These services are make available to Park companies through a special Audiovisual Services Centre at their disposal.
