06.30.2010 – Tecnoconsult International selects KIT digital as Technology Partner for World-Class Next Generation Video Production Complex in Rome, Italy

ROME, Italy and PRAGUE, Czech Republic - KIT digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: KITD), a leading global provider of video asset management solutions (VAMs) for multi-screen IP-based delivery and broadcast systems integration services, has been selected as the primary technology and development partner by Tecnoconsult International for its new Audiovisual Telematics Park, a 47,000 square meter world-class integrated video production complex under development in Rome, Italy.
Tecnoconsult, a Rome-based construction design and development company, plans to open the park in the fourth quarter of 2012 with the participation of a number of industry-leading partners in audio visual production, education and technology.
The expansive facility is expected to become Europe’s premier, one-stop destination for innovative and “New TV” video productions. It will provide a complete range of state-of-the-art technical and telematic services at a single location, designed to support audiovisual, interactive, immersive and cross-media productions for emerging, multi-platform digital channels.

Tecnoconsult International and Kaltura in joint-venture for strategic partnership in the Audiovisual Telematics Park
Tecnoconsult International Ltd and Kaltura have signed an agreement for co-investment, implementation and management of video specialistic services for the Audiovisual Telematics Park. These services will be offered exclusively by the Park and the constituent cinema and television stages, Digital Artists Studios, part in site and part in the web-based national territory.
Starting from Kaltura free / open source platforms, it will create infrastructure for producers, publishers and digital channels, which allow extended functionality for collaboration and decentralization for each stage of production, post-production, re-packaging, tracking, cross-diffusion medial and social content. These services include research and development initiative for the Universal Audiovisual Archive, which will allow creators and producers to access, re-mix and reuse hundreds of thousands of gigabytes of video content available under public license, as well as access for a fee to broad base stock and long format content owners, creating a dynamic community of micro-producers, who may use the contents for any purpose artistic and commercial.
Moreover, Kaltura also expressed strong interest in participating in the Institute of Open Audiovisual Technology, a training center with cutting edge workshops, intensive courses and training on the job in video applications, free / open source, for which the park is searching for more partnerships in Italy.

Tecnoconsult International signed a Mou with Euroscena
Today Tecnoconsult International signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Euroscena spa for the construction, co-investment and management of a Newco of technical services and tv/cinema stages dedicated to audiovisual cross-media productions and emerging digital channels. It also expresses concern to gather / locate in the park, part of its operations in Italy, 6 in Rome and Milan.
Tecnoconsult International, Euroscena and other technology partners will achieve:
- 23 theater. Of these areas, only 9 in the Park will be medium-sized and large all completely soundproofed, with four indoor pool, 13 small modular stages, all ready for live and virtual sets, 4 hectares of back-lot equipped with external mobile structures mobile, virtual sets and pre-arranged locations.
- Services and equipment to complete post-production, special effects, complete flow of stereoscopic 3D, 3D animation, creation of sets, filming and production support furniture.
- Comfortable production offices, dressing rooms and makeup rooms in the green, and connected to a private spa from 2,200 sqm.
