The Telematics Park Video Business Center, through its main 1,300 sq.m HQ within the Park and through a fiber-connected 600 sq.m branch in downtown Rome, will offer the following general services to businesses:

• Rental of furnished offices, meeting rooms, print center, videoconferencing, telepresence and complete secretary services in many languages.
• Direct fiber access to data, applications and resources of the Park's Fiber Cloud.
• Facilitation services for establishment of foreign partnerships, also through structured agreements with audiovisual technology parks in Italy and abroad, including staff and dedicated telematic connections.
• Promotion services of clients' brand and activity through cross-media promotion in the Park's portal, industry websites and social networks, but also on-site exhibitions, conferences and publications.

The technological core of the Park will reside in a range of telematic services provided by its Park Cloud. This distributed computing infrastructure and platform will consist primarily of: (1) an internal fiber-to-the-desktop network (or "campus-wide storage area network"); (2) multiple data centers, co-location and hosting, inside and outside the Park; (3) powerful cloud-based applications for management, publishing and collaborative editing. It will thus provide powerful state-of-the-art telematic audiovisual services, unique in Italy and Europe, accessible from within the Park and, to a large extent, anywhere via fixed and mobile web connection. They will be largely based on open standards, and therefore compatible with all present and future client and server platforms for editing, news-room, special effects, animation, stereoscopy, IP publishing, and play-out. Here are some of those services:

• Free and direct physical connection to 6-7 national and international operators, through a 1.5M euros proprietary redundant IP fiber backbone scalable to 200Gbps, which will enable producers and broadcasters settled in the Park to manage in a flexible and cost-effective way their content hosting, HD streaming via IP networks, or point-to-point connections with suppliers, customers and international partners.
• Complete digital management of audio and video production flows (Tapeless Workflow)
• Unique web-based functionalities enabling authorized partners, consultants and management to collaborate editing and monitoring all traditional and cross-media workflow phases.
• Multimedia Asset Management (MAM): remote storage, redundant backups, preservation, hosting, conversion, reformatting and monetization.
• Processing and rendering farm services, running hundreds of processors, for 3D movies generation, format conversions, semantic indexing (time-based metadata extraction), advanced filtering and special effects, and other future applications.
• Immediate access in lossless format up to 9Gbps to: hundreds of Terabytes of stock video and other proprietary audiovisual archival contents, available for purchase from partners; an Universal Audiovisual Library, with more than 2,000 Terabytes of locally-cached audio and video content in source quality, under public domain or open licenses.
• Shared or time-based access to the following services and infrastructures for digital and cross-media broadcasters: modular television studios and stages; transmission and broadcasting equipment; complete physical and virtual news rooms; extended satellite uplink, downlink and radio bridge capacity, through fixed and mobile structures; other backend infrastructures.
• Free cable and fee-based ultra-wideband internet access available on the whole Park area, through a 802.11n network. This will be extended to cover the entire city of Formello, including the Productive Zone and its hundreds of companies.

These services will greatly extend monitoring, creative and collaboration potential, by radically reducing time, costs and security risks tipically involved in thep articipation of a wide number of collaborating parties in the provisioning of technical and artistic services in every phase of product development.
